Hi peeps, I'm back =). Bad news is, I'm down with a minor cold today. I'll need as much rest as possible so that I can recover fast. Here's a picture taken outside the restaurant where we had our late lunch upon touch down. More pictures to come later.

A Rainy Day
What a lonely night. Mimi has gone to China with his dad this morning. I'll have the entire week myself, all the time in the world, all by myself. I thought I will do just fine. I cannot recall the last time I was alone. At least not for the entire week. I cant help but to feel an emptiness inside. I need my songs to keep me accompanied. I'm doing alright as long as I keep myself busy. Since there's no appointment on my calender for the days to come (when I needed one), I've jot down a to-do list for the entire week and I'm counting the days for mimi to be back. Nite, peeps.
P/s: Has been raining non-stop the entire day. Please don't stop. Gonna tuck myself into bed.

Korean Fast Food???
Tried something new last week. Probably not new to most of you :P. I'm gonna call this place the Korean "fast-food" restaurant. Not because their service was fast. Also, not because it's self-service. It's simply because their food taste like those in fast-food restaurants, not to mention the food presentation as well. Frankly speaking, we could get better and tastier food for the price we paid for at any other restaurants such as Chili's, Dome or even Nando's. If you've been planning to try this place for ages (like me), you shouldn't listen to me and should go ahead to experience it and tell me what you think ;). As for me, I would rather go for KFC.

My New Jacket
For those who's been following my blog, you know that I'll be going to Hong Kong soon. And guess what? I'm so not prepared for the trip. First, I didn't even remember to bring back my sweaters and jackets the last time I went home. Second, I haven't had a check list on what I should bring, or what I should buy, and didn't bother to do so just yet until the very last minute? Third, I'm still very extremely busy at work and too tired to think about anything after I came home from work, I'm so mentally exhausted....maybe the vacation will do the healing :). Fourth, I don't know if I have the right pair of shoes to walk 24/7 in Hong Kong and I'm just gonna count on the most comfortable walking shoes I have. Fifth, I don't have the time to explore the new camera just yet, we'll be borrowing an SLR from mimi's dad and I'm totally a noob to SLR. So well, don't blame me if you see my skill sucks :P. Well, at least I made an effort to go shopping for my jacket last night and found it just within a minute! I was feeling quite cold last night because it was raining outside so when I walked into Mango and tried on one of the jackets, I felt so warm in it. Without a second thought, I bought the jacket because I think it looks pretty good on me and I know that it'll do it's job to keep me warm in Hong Kong. Was too lazy to go hunting for other choices so it was more like a grab-and-go thingy. But I must say, I really like it, it was love at first sight :).

Free Starbucks Voucher
That day, we went for a drink at Starbucks. We ordered Latte. Two minutes later, the barista approached us and told us there was a problem with the espresso machine and the coffee she made might not be up to standard. She suggested we go for cold drinks or ice-blended. Mimi didn't want cold drinks and he didn't want tea either. So we chose to have a normal brew (prepared using a separate coffee machine) which costs less than what we paid for. But of course, we were compensated with a piece of chocolate cookie. We waited for another 5 minutes before our drinks were served. To our surprise, they made us a Venti-sized brew, gave us a coupon for a free drink, any size, on our next visit to any Starbucks outlet and apologized for the inconvenience caused. I thought it was very nice :). Although we were pretty upset 5 minutes ago, we walked out happily and satisfied. So, I must say that I'm a very satisfied Starbucks customer. Thumbs up for their service!
