Cozy House Restaurant

It's time to try out some new food...or should i say 'a new place' to eat good and cheap food!! This restaurant is called the Cozy House and is located at the highest floor of the Great Eastern Mall. At first, didn't really dare to walk in any of the restaurants at the top floor cause most of them are empty (guess those food must be expensive). However during lunch time, i was surprised to find out that the Cozy House was almost 'full house' compare to the rest of the restaurants around. Therefore, we follow the majority and went into the restaurant too.

We got ourself a glass of fresh watermelon (above) and a glass of fresh apple juice (below).

At first, i placed an order for a plate of green curry chicken rice.....until i saw the word 'TOM YAM' on the menu. Tom Yam has always been my favorite and at that particular moment, there was this irresistible impulse forcing me to try out the tom yam at this new place. So, i ended up canceling my previous order and placed an order for the seafood tom yam instead.

I can smell the aroma of spices and sourness the moment the tom yam was served. I did not regret ordering the tom yam after all. It tastes really good.....not too sour and not too spicy....unlike the one at Secret Recipe which was too sour and too spicy.

This is the Fried Yee Mee with Fresh Water Prawn my boyfriend ordered. I am sure you are gonna like this too. Wanna try some???

patrick: Aha....that reminds me of the noodles in Penang. I was very surprised that the 'maggi' noodle was very popular there. Unlike in KL, you can seldom find any stall that offers 'maggi' noodle.
